History
Swayn Legal is a new name but it represents a long and rich history of legal practice by Simon Swayn throughout rural and regional Victoria.
Simon was born, raised and educated in Colac. After completing his HSC in 1979, Simon completed his tertiary education at Monash University completing and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (1982) and Bachelor of Laws (1984).
Returning to his country roots, Simon commenced his legal career in Warrnambool in 1985.
Having practiced as a sole practitioner in Horsham and Warracknabeal for 20 years, Simon relocated to Bendigo with his family in 2010.
After working for O’Farrell Robertson McMahon and Sandhurst Trustees (Bendigo Bank), Simon made the decision to return to practice as a sole practitioner in January 2015.
Nine years on and now rebranded as Swayn Legal, steady growth in the practice has enabled Simon to expand his practice. The team at Swayn Legal is dedicated to continually growing the practice whilst maintaining the quality of service and dedication to clients that a smaller business can provide.
Simon also has a strong focus on mentoring the next generation of Solicitors. As well as employing law students through his practice, he also teaches at Latrobe University Bendigo on a sessional basis.
